Composite bonding is right for almost anyone, and there are only a few requirements. You must:

  • Be over the age of 18 (or have written parental consent if you are below the age of 18)
  • Have good overall teeth & oral health
  • Not have existing ceramic or porcelain restorations, e.g. crowns, veneers, implants, bridges or dentures

Simply put – yes!

Composite bonding is a great alternative to traditional ceramic veneers, which are an invasive treatment and are non-reversible.

Composite bonding does not drill at or remove any of your natural teeth, but can improve the appearance of your smile to create a fuller, brighter look.

Yes! Composite bonding is a great way to lengthen teeth. Our dentists know exactly how much to add, so your teeth stay healthier for longer.

It’s an excellent solution for receding gums. Recessions appear on the front surface of the tooth, and our treatment will cover these, as well as help with any sensitivity you’re facing.

No but the old crowns or dentures can be removed and replaced with new composite bonding to match your new smile .

You cannot get composite bonding applied to veneers. If you are interested in changing up your smile but you already have veneers, you should book a consultation with one of our Treatment Advisors who will discuss exactly what you are hoping to achieve and make personalised recommendations based on your previous treatments.

Treatment costs differ depending on whether you opt for freehand or digital composite bonding, and the number of teeth being worked on.

At Smiles and Smiles, composite bonding starts from £300 a tooth but can be as little as £156 a tooth if you have the treatment on both arches.

There are a number of different treatment options and a proper assessment of your smiles is required before a complete cost can be shared with you. We have no hidden costs and what we charge you will be what you pay.
