Treatments

Cosmetic dentistry treatments are a great way to boost your confidence by giving you the smile you’ve always wanted. Treatments can also help improve the general appearance and strength of your teeth, depending on what you opt for.

We know it’s a big decision to make, and one you may want a lot of help and advice with when looking around. Our dentists are all professionals and come highly recommended. They’re here to help you achieve your perfect smile goals.

At present, Smiles and Smiles offers treatments within 7 core categories:

  • Composite bonding
  • Veneers
  • Whitening
  • Aligners
  • Crowns
  • Fillings
  • Advanced oral hygiene

Most treatments are usually not painful. Some clients have reported slight sensitivity during the settling down period after the final fitting. This is quite normal and nothing to worry about as any discomfort should only last a few days.

We’d noticed that patients were coming to us because they’d been let down by others.

They’d travelled far, only to find treatment inaccessible. Worse still, they’d had treatment without proper assessment or advice – resulting in smiles they weren’t happy with.

We designed Smiles and Smiles to be a cosmetic dentistry clinic whose reputation you can rely on.

After a free online or in clinic consultation, you’ll be welcomed into our peaceful studio, where treatments are performed by professional dentists, established over 30 years.

Our team uses the best materials to create your perfect smile. We go by professional processes and are powered by state-of-the art technology.

Once treatment is finished, we’ll make sure you’re comfortable with your bespoke aftercare plan. You’ll leave smiling, knowing that you can come back anytime for advice or maintenance.

There isn’t just one thing that makes us different. It’s the complete package. It may sound cheesy, but it’s all in the name. At Smiles and Smiles everything we do is to make you smile… and… smile.

Smile transformation is not a medical term and can mean different things to different people

At smiles and smiles, we refer to a smile transformation as a single or combination of painless, cosmetic treatments used to create a dream smile for our clients

Most commonly they involve composite bonding for 8 teeth in the smile zone with whitening applied to the lower arch to ensure a beautiful even smile.

With our advanced tools and planning, you can walk away with your brand new smile from a single morning or afternoon visit.

Warranties and aftercare

We’ll suggest solutions to get your smile where we both want it to be, guaranteeing your satisfaction – even repeating the treatment until you’re happy.  This will of course depend on the treatment option you selected at the beginning.

To ensure you get the best results, our dentists will walk you through everything you need to know to best look after your teeth following your treatment and they will make recommendations that you should follow to ensure your smile lasts.

We’re here for you before, during and after your treatment, and we’re on call to answer any questions. You can call us on 020 3814 7771 between 8am-8pm Monday-Friday or 10am-2pm Saturdays and Sundays.

Your dentist will give you tailored advice based on your treatment, but a good rule of thumb is to:

  • Practice good oral hygiene following your appointment, i.e. brushing your teeth multiple times daily
  • Visit the hygienist as part of your dental routine at least once per year
  • Avoid anything that will stain the teeth in the first 48-hours after your appointment; this is a critical period especially following composite bonding and whitening treatments. Things to avoid include tea, coffee, smoking and turmeric-based foods
  • Consider cutting down on the above in the longer-term to avoid ongoing damage to your teeth

Visiting the clinic

Smiles and Smiles is located at 61 Paddington Street, London W1U 4JD.

Yes.

To secure your in-clinic consultation we will process a consultation fee of £75, this is fully redeemable against your treatment.

You initial session will be with one of our treatment advisors who will help you make the best possible decision regarding your smile makeover and will help you create your bespoke journey and plan. During the consultation, you will discuss all treatment options and the pros and cons. You’ll also discuss the procedure and what you’d be happy with.

Beforehand, you might like to read up on all the treatments we offer to get a clearer idea of what you think would be right for you, the timeframe by which you would like your smile to be transformed and your budget.

Should you prefer, your consultation can also be carried out via a video call.

If we spot gum disease or multiple misalignments that need work, we’ll flag this. You need to have a good standard of oral health to proceed on your journey. Whatever the next step, you’ll be clear on what the process will be before you return for a treatment that gives you the smile you deserve.

Treatments can take anywhere from 1-hour to 5-hours and your treatment will always be done in single sitting when possible.

Your dentist will give you timings during your consultation so that you are prepared.
